Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how BibleMood handles Your information when You use the Application, and the rights You have.
The short version
- The Application has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for Your name, email address or phone number.
- Your saved verses, Your history and Your statistics are stored on Your device only. We cannot see them.
- We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count how features are used. Those events are tied to an anonymous identifier from Your device, not to You.
- We show no advertisements and sell nothing to advertisers.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see Your card details.
The rest of this document says the same thing in the detail the law asks for.

- Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to BibleMood.
- Country refers to: Croatia

It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
We do not collect Personal Data. The Application has no accounts, no registration and no sign-in. It never asks You for a name, an email address, a phone number, an address or a payment detail, and it has no field in which You could enter one.
Because we hold no account for You, we have no way to identify You, to contact You, or to connect any of the data described below to a named person.
Older versions of the Application
Versions of the Application published before September 2026 asked You to sign in with a Google account. Those versions recorded Your email address, and stored a record of Your subscription and Your monthly usage against that account.
If You are still using one of those versions, that record exists and is held by us. It is not read or used by the current version of the Application, which has no sign-in at all. We will delete these records once the older versions are no longer in use.
You do not have to wait for that. Write to info@biblemood.app and we will delete Your record, and updating the Application will stop any new record being created.
Usage and Analytics Data
The Application uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to understand how it is used and where it fails. It records a small number of events, such as:
- that the Application finished starting, and how long that took
- that a daily verse or a reflection was opened
- that the purchase screen was shown, and whether a purchase was started, completed or abandoned
- that the notification prompt was shown, and whether it was accepted
These events record that something happened, not what You read. We do not record which verses You look at, which moods You choose, what You save, or anything You write.
Alongside these events, Google receives technical information of the kind that accompanies any network request, including Your device model, operating system version, general region, and Your IP address. We do not receive Your IP address in a form that lets us identify You.
The Application also uses Firebase Remote Config, which asks Google for a small configuration value at startup so that we can, for example, tell very old versions of the Application that they need to update. It sends no information about You beyond what is described above.
Device Identifiers and Advertising ID
The analytics described above are tied to identifiers generated on Your Device, not to You:
- an app instance identifier created by Firebase when the Application is installed
- an anonymous identifier created by RevenueCat, used to remember that a purchase belongs to this installation
- the advertising identifier provided by Your device
We show no advertisements. We do not use the advertising identifier to target, profile or market to You, we do not build an advertising profile, and we share it with no advertising network. It is present because it accompanies the analytics service described above, and it is used only for that.
You can reset the advertising identifier, or ask Your device to stop providing it, in Your device settings. Uninstalling the Application discards the other two identifiers.
Purchases
Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive, see or store Your card number, bank details or billing address.
We use RevenueCat, a service provider, to record whether a purchase was made, so that the Application can unlock what You paid for and restore it if You reinstall or change device. What RevenueCat holds is the fact of the purchase and the anonymous identifier described above.
Data stored only on Your Device
The following never leaves Your Device and is never sent to us:
- the verses You save
- Your reading history and Your journey statistics
- Your notification time and other preferences
- the Bible text and the reflections, which are shipped inside the Application
If You export a backup, the file is written where You choose it to be written. We do not receive it.
Notifications
The daily reminder is scheduled on Your Device. We do not operate a push service, and we cannot send You a message. If You turn notifications off, nothing is sent to us and nothing changes for us.
Use of Your Data
The Company may use the data described above for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to see that it starts correctly and to find what is broken.
- To understand how the Service is used: which features people reach, and where they stop.
- For the performance of a contract: to unlock and restore what You have purchased.
- To manage Your requests: to answer You if You write to us.
- For business transfers: we may use this information to evaluate or conduct a merger, restructuring, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets.
We may share this information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: with Google and RevenueCat, as described above, so that they can provide the analytics and purchase services on Our behalf.
- For business transfers: in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business.
- With Affiliates: in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
- With Your consent: for any other purpose, with Your consent.
We do not sell Your data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to market anything to You.
Retention of Your Data
Analytics event data is retained by Google for 2 months. User-level analytics data is retained for up to 14 months from Your most recent use of the Application, after which it is deleted automatically.
Purchase records are retained for as long as the purchase is valid, which for a one-time purchase means indefinitely, so that You can restore it on a new device.
Data stored on Your Device is retained until You delete it or remove the Application.
Transfer of Your Data
The service providers described above operate internationally, which means that the information described in this Policy may be processed on computers located outside Your state, province or country, where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.
The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that this data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Deleting Your Data
Because the Application has no accounts, there is no profile for us to delete.
Data on Your Device: You can erase Your saved verses, history and statistics at any time from within the Application, under Settings → Data & Privacy → Reset Data. Removing the Application deletes all of it as well.
Analytics: these events are tied to an identifier generated on Your Device rather than to You, so we are not able to find the events belonging to one person. You can stop new events being recorded by uninstalling the Application, and You can reset the advertising identifier in Your device settings.
Purchases: the record of a purchase is kept so that You can restore it. If You want it removed, write to us and we will remove it, but You will no longer be able to restore that purchase on a new device.
Accounts from older versions: if You signed in to a version published before September 2026, write to info@biblemood.app and we will delete the account and the records held against it.
If You have any question about data we may hold, contact us at info@biblemood.app.
Disclosure of Your Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, this data may be transferred. We will provide notice before it is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose this data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
Other legal requirements
The Company may disclose this data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation
- Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
- Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public
- Protect against legal liability
Security of Your Data
Data sent by the Application is transmitted over encrypted connections. Data stored on Your Device is protected by Your Device.
No method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect this data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 — and, as described above, we do not collect it from anyone at all. If You are a parent or guardian and You believe Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent’s consent before We collect and use that information.
Links to Other Websites
The Application contains links that open outside it, including this Privacy Policy, the Google Play subscription and purchase screens, and biblemood.app. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top.
Because we hold no email address for You, we cannot notify You directly. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
